MioPocket for GPSBay

WARNING: I’m not responsible for any damage resulted by following my guide.

1. Create shell.ini in your SDcard
open up shell.ini and paste

/windows/explorer.exe

2.Download MioPocket http://www.netfresco.com/MioPocket/

3. Extract and copy the following to SDcard
Media
folder
MioAutoRun folder
MioAutoRun.exe
MioAutoRun.mscr
MortScript.exe

4.Turn on your GPSBay with sd card in it.Click on Navigation.A window should appear,open SDMMC and run MioAutoRun.exe

5.Here onward,please refer to MioPocket guide.

6.When your done,there’s a bug bring up the old main menu.To solve this,you need to go to MP Setting -> System -> Disable PowerButton on startup

Garmin ActiveTrack(NVM) to GPX

This web app was release in conjunction with my GF’s birthday.Happy Birthday Darling!!

Garmin Active Track (GARMIN_ATRK.NVM) contain users’ tracklog. Tracklog could be use to improve open maps such as malfreemaps.com .If you have problems exporting GARMIN_ATRK.NVM through Mapsource or doesn’t have mapsource installed,this web app will help you.

Export Mapking G12 POI to KML/GPX

Mapking G12 is an application that normally reside on Personal Navigation Device (PND)/Windows CE/symbian.It lacks of features such as “export favorite POI”.This is a converter to convert the binary POI to useful POI.

How to get PPGPOINE.DAT

Go to SDcard -> MagaNavi -> USER -> PPGPOINE.DAT

  1. Get UltraEdit
  2. Download Mapking R12 map
  3. Edit with UltraEdit
  4. On Line 0×0020/00000020h replace with the Header of your desired software

GPS PND (Personal Navigation Device) Desktop

This is how I did it on my GPS Bay 3303.

Step 1. Create a new file called shell.ini
Step 2. Paste this in

/windows/explorer.exe

Step 3. Copy it into SD card and run “Navigation”
**Note:this step will disable navigation until u delete shell.ini from SD card or you can open it from windows explorer by looking for “MobileNavigator”
